Escape room Eindhoven – Disco Inferno

Disco Inferno was probably our last attempt at booking a room at the last minute.
We simply got greedy and decided to squeeze in one more game on the way to the airport.

It wasn’t easy—lots of phone calls back and forth, trying to book something early in the morning just to find out whether a game master would even be available the next day.

This game? Let’s just say… the only real way to improve it would be to set it on fire.

The concept is actually great: multiple copies of the same room, so it works for team-building events or as a “solo” game for one team.
But the maintenance? A disaster.

The rooms are set inside transport containers, which is already a questionable choice—those things are damp even on a good day, not to mention how the weather usually is in the Netherlands.
Every wooden part inside was moist or swollen. Half the things didn’t work.

To this day, Miro and Veronika tease me that this room was the best way we could’ve chosen to wrap up what had otherwise been a fantastic trip.

Well… lesson not learned—because I did the exact same thing on our next trip.
