Obi (Ivan): Escape Bar was the first stop on our escape room trip to Prague, and it really kicked things off on a high note. Our team was full of energy and managed to race through the game, even setting a new record time! The puzzles had a nice logical flow—consequential and satisfying without ever feeling dull or repetitive. The theme is simple (you’re basically in a Prague bar with a twist), but the atmosphere really pulls you in, with authentic decor and even a real welcome drink to set the mood. The immersion is strong despite the straightforward setting, and it was cool how the story slowly unraveled into something more than it seemed at first.
The game master made the whole experience even better—super friendly, funny, and clearly enjoying what he does. He stayed in character, gave helpful nudges when needed, and took time after the game to chat about the design and our performance. A lot of other players seem to agree that the hosting here is top-notch. Creative puzzles, unexpected moments, and smooth gameplay, especially praising how nothing feels forced or overly reliant on padlocks. The difficulty is just right—challenging enough to be fun, but still very playable for beginners.
Overall, this room was a feel-good, fast-paced adventure that left us buzzing. It’s a great choice whether you’re new to escape rooms or already addicted like us. Simple theme, smart execution, great hosting, and a few surprises along the way. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town!
