If someone had told me before playing this game that a game about fans and air conditioners would end up in my top 10, I would have laughed.
I repeat—FANS. And AIR CONDITIONERS.
To this day, that’s how I describe this game. There is no such thing as a boring theme. Nothing is impossible to sell to players—as long as you do it the smart way.
And boy, does Hans’ Revenge win this competition.
The adventure starts even before the game. You’ve been summoned by your future boss—a very shady (and kind of an asshole) dude. We had to help, and that’s exactly what we did.
The game is huge in terms of space, and the story is—if you haven’t figured it out by now—unique.
With twists you could never anticipate, it pulls you through a narrative that unfolds with humor and drama, escalating from a seemingly mundane premise to an epic showdown.
The set design is expansive and meticulously crafted, with high-tech elements, dynamic lighting, and atmospheric effects that transported us into a vibrant, action-packed world.
Whatever I say about this game won’t be enough. Belgium has some fantastic games, but this one is a jewel—a must-play for every enthusiast.
Fun fact – post-game activity:
About an hour after we left, I got an email with a video from our “boss.”
Turns out, we didn’t change anything for him. He learned what we did and still hopped into his huge black RV and drove off—with a great song playing in the background: Beast Mode by Nbhd Nick.
It’s still on my gym playlist, and every time it comes on during a workout, I’m instantly transported back to this game.
And that is how great marketing is done.
