A slightly creepy room, but our host deserves the ‘Game Master of the Decade’ award. From the moment we entered, his role left us wondering whether he was pretending to be THAT odd or he was just naturally … out there. Every word, intonation, and movement was learned, brilliantly executed, and introduced us to the dark world of voodoo magic and Elizabeth Van Leeuwenhart history. This room was also the first to give us ‘homework’ at the end – an envelope with puzzles to solve at will and a coin for each – a real heavy metal coin. It turns out it’s not random, but I won’t reveal more. While waiting for our flight to Bulgaria, with a 5-hour delay at the airport, we solved all of Eliza’s puzzles. It felt like a sequel to the game, and the story was fantastic. 10/10.
