Obi (Ivan): Welcome to the torture chamber! Zodiac Patres delivered a dark, immersive, and very memorable experience. It all starts with the classic routine—blindfolded, led into a cell, chained up—which we’ve experienced in many rooms before, but it was executed well and helped build the atmosphere. The first part follows a familiar jail escape theme, with puzzles that were solid and kept us engaged without ever becoming frustrating or too easy.
What really made this room stand out was the effort put into creating a believable, unsettling medieval torture environment. The space is packed with creepy tools, authentic-looking props, dim lighting, and disturbing ambient sounds that add to the tension without crossing into full horror. It’s not scary in the scream-or-jump-scare sense, but it’s definitely eerie, immersive, and intense in a way that sticks with you. The vibe is more chilling than terrifying—something that lingers in your head after you leave.
The overall design is polished and atmospheric, and it’s clear the creators paid attention to the small details that make the setting feel real. It’s not a feel-good experience, but it’s not meant to be—it’s dark, mysterious, and thrilling. The game masters were professional and stayed perfectly in tune with the tone of the room, which added to the experience.
All in all, this was a strong, well-crafted escape room with a heavy atmosphere and a lasting impression. If you’re looking for something darker, immersive, and different from your typical fun-and-lighthearted games, this one definitely delivers.
