This was probably my favorite game from PIN Escape. While it’s on the smaller side, it’s absolutely packed with puzzles—mostly mechanical, which fits the Wild West theme perfectly.
Right from the entrance, you’re greeted by the smell of sand and hay—an authentic touch that really sets the mood. I would’ve been happy with that alone, but the creators decided to keep the first part of the game in near-total darkness. That bothered me, as my eyesight isn’t quite what it used to be. Still, we pushed through, and one of the early puzzles involving a rope and plumb bob really challenged our ingenuity in a good way.
Once we made it into the saloon area, everything improved. Light, music, a fun atmosphere—the game picked up pace. There’s a piece of furniture with ten drawers, and yes, you need to open every single one. Normally, I’d be annoyed, but hey, it’s the Wild West—I’ll allow it.
One strange moment: the game master suddenly entered and shot at us with a cap gun. Just for fun, apparently. I’m still not sure why that was necessary—it definitely broke my train of thought and left me a bit on edge for the rest of the game.
That said, the game master was a lovely young woman who genuinely tried to ensure we had a good time. We appreciated the effort and her friendly attitude.
The puzzles throughout the room were well-integrated into the theme: cards, a mechanical piano, booze, cart wheels—you name it. Everything was thoughtfully crafted to match the Western setting.
Final Thoughts: A cute, charming room packed with tactile puzzles and immersive details. Small but mighty—this is the kind of escape room I could happily play all day, every day.
