We just beat this room to the ground.
We arrive late after informing them, entering at 100 kilometers per hour. Scary or not, let’s push through. The hostess explains that because we are late, the clock in front of the room will show only 45 minutes, the remaining time from the scheduled hour. Wherever we get, we get. So, are we Fury or bunch or losers (don’t answer that)? Challenge us to escape FAST; o boy, we have ambition. 25 minutes later, we make a dramatic exit, encounter the bewildered look of the game masters, pose for a photo, and disappear into the night as if we had never been there 🤭(hey, the poet in me is calling).
The room is actually quite interesting; we are in a forest cabin, possessed by ghosts projected on the wall, super clever use of projection to solve a puzzle, I must add. A small room with enough puzzles, it has everything: a little graves to dig, Ouija boards, a few bones, and summoning demons… a typical day in our textbook.
Everything works, which I understand is not accidental because all electronics have been replaced by the owner of The Artifact, who is now my new favorite random character in life. I hope he does the same with the X- Mutants because I still feel tension in my spine, remembering how broken it was.
