Personally, I liked Improbable Escapes – Seven Dwarfs: Mining Mission the previous room from the same company we played much more. There is a logical explanation – we usually play in the evening, and I’m at my computer, able to dedicate my full attention to the game. For this room, I don’t know what kind of madness possessed me, but I booked it for 16:30. I was at the market with Alla, listening to the game at the beginning from the car while driving at breakneck speed to join the game with a 20-minute delay. The puzzle with the parrot Polly was fun and another room that I’m convinced we would have a blast playing on-site; the environment looked fantastic. Alas, I am increasingly convinced that rooms “adapted” to be played online don’t fill me with the same joy. In the current situation, beggars can’t be choosers, but with the prices of escape rooms in the USA, I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth it.
