Anton: I really want to say something positive about this room, but the truth is, there’s hardly anything that stands out in a good light. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a sense of abandonment. Not just dust. Dirt. The kind that makes you hesitate to touch anything.
This is far from the first dark-themed room I’ve been to, but here, the darkness didn’t create atmosphere; it simply masked the wear and tear.
Our team of four turned out to be too many for the space, even though the website states it’s suitable for two to six people. In reality, it felt like a storage closet with escape room elements.
The puzzles? No surprises, no innovation, no enjoyment. Some of them were clearly broken and had been “fixed” on the go, not particularly well. And of course, there were misleading objects that look like part of a puzzle but aren’t, placed there deliberately to waste your time. Yes, we asked, that’s exactly what they’re for.
Seven isn’t the worst room I’ve played, but it’s definitely near the bottom of the list. The wear and lack of care are visible in every corner. If you’re looking for a powerful experience, in a good sense, skip this one.
