After spending the whole day running around playing all those big games with big stories and overwhelming décor and puzzles, we were just looking for something quick to play in Antwerp before heading to bed.
This game turned out to be great in its simplicity—well-crafted puzzles made with love by a small team who clearly cared deeply about what they were creating.
Of course, huge rooms built with big budgets are impressive.
But I can really appreciate smaller projects that put their creators’ ingenuity to the test.
How do you wow players who’ve seen it all?
How do you transform a familiar type of puzzle so it feels fresh and intriguing?
We’ve all done a thousand Einstein puzzles, right?
Well—this is the place where I actually enjoyed it!
Because someone put thought into making you smile, without needing 400 square meters or every special effect in the book.
We loved it and had such a great time that we booked The Bunker and came back the next day to play that one too.
Oh—and the Game Master was a great dude who kindly stayed with us almost until midnight to accommodate us.
