Anton: We entered this room after playing seven others earlier that same day. To say we were a bit tired… well, I won’t even say it.
The pirate ship was well constructed, complete with a helm and everything you’d expect to feel like you’re on board. The room felt cheerful and welcoming, despite the “Wicked” part of its name. In my opinion, the game master did a brilliant job.
There was a talking parrot who served as our connection to her. She sang, joked around, teased us, helped us, and even got in our way at times. It was a whole separate layer of entertainment, beyond the puzzles themselves.
Personally, I didn’t want to leave such a delightful room, but eventually we had to. I’d happily play it again, but only if the next game master is just as enthusiastic about making the experience great. It was a wonderful way to end the day!
Unfortunately, this game was also closed, which is a lost for Thessaloniki.
