I will start with the negative. I would have enjoyed this room twice as much if we were half as many people. As seen in our photo, we played with a total of EIGHT people for the first time, creating a cacophony in the online game. Unfortunately, the choice was not random; the price for this room is “flat,” and whether you play with three or eight, the price is the same. It’s a bit steep by our standards. Still, we received fantastic reviews for the room, and we had to organize ourselves. Honestly, I had déjà vu with The Dome because, like it, this room is expensive, with the same price regardless of the number of participants, and it’s the best room we’ve ever played in real life. The same can be said for Pursuit of Assassin Artist but in the digital space. Unanimously, we all agreed it’s the best online room we’ve come across.
Many mechanics borrowed from video games are all in place and fantastically implemented. It’s again a combination of real-time theater, role-playing, and puzzles, super fun and well-organized. You have several ways to approach solving the problems in front of you. If we manage to play the game in one way, it doesn’t mean you have to do it the same way, you can find yours, still valid way to achieve the goal.
Absolute admiration for the hosts, they are professional, everything is rehearsed to the smallest detail, absolutely brilliant!
If you can play an online escape room, this is the room for you. You won’t regret it 🙂
