According to the plan, we were supposed to play with five people. At the last moment, it turned out there were three of us, and the game requires four, and it can’t be played with fewer, or at least not without warning. Luckily, Veneta decided to save us at the last moment, probably because of that, and we effortlessly uncovered all of Idit’s secrets. After Agent Venture: The Heist, I was initially concerned; the ‘rooms’ with specific role assignments and the lack of a common vision for the game among all participants didn’t appeal to us much. However, Idit and her cats exceeded these expectations.
The website of the ‘room’ might give you epilepsy or, with a bit of luck, a vertigo. It looks like someone with minimal knowledge of Paint and the mentality of a 9-year-old put it together.
On the contrary, the game is the complete opposite – fantastic puzzles, superbly utilizing the fact that we are playing online, mechanics that we haven’t seen before in the approximately 20 online rooms we’ve played so far, team play, and a creative approach. And a few cats, which certainly didn’t hurt. Our hostess embraced her role and played it perfectly. It’s becoming more common for us to play with professionals who understand that the story and performance are a significant part of the experience. Thanks, highly recommended 🙂
