Definitely, our hosts from MindTrap deserve the award for the best performance. As the name suggests, one of us will become the new rightful ruler of England, while in this adventure, we are led not by anyone else but Sir Cry-a-Lot, a wannabe knight who almost constantly cries but, in return, has a tender soul and is an artist, even rapping while we play. I laughed out loud while playing; their humor is top-notch and exceptionally well-chosen. Before the game starts, they show us on camera where the bathroom is, as it would happen if we were really there. They encourage us to visit it, and afterward, we won’t have the opportunity. They offer us drinks and snacks for an additional fee, graciously offering to consume them for us and share what they taste like. Genius 🤣
The puzzles in the room are not easy at all; we manage to escape with almost no time on the clock. In the end, Anton becomes the king. After Divinity 2, this is his fate (a bit of internal humor; we were following some quest where Anton’s elf, Sibyl, had to become the queen of all elves). The room has remarkable design and environment, and it definitely loses some of the feeling while playing online, but as the poet said #itiswhatitis. Highly recommended!
