The rooms at Captive are among those you play in bulk. I highly recommend the location if you want to do the so-called ‘back2back’ or, in other words, play as many rooms as possible without a break, escaping one and entering another without wasting time on the way. Here, there are seven rooms (of which we have already played six so far; sorry, Coca-Cola, we still haven’t uncovered your secret recipe). They provide a discount code for each subsequent room, so it turns out to be cheaper than expected. The game masters speak English, and the games work. A recipe for quick entertainment.
We went to see how they handle the new rooms, and since lately we have been in at least 5 Wild West-themed rooms, we decided to add one more; apparently, the theme is quite popular, but something is still missing for me. And here is the same. The room is challenging; it turns out we are good at shooting but not so much at thinking. Ultimately, we waste 5 minutes on “arranging” elements, which is always annoying. You know what you’re doing, you know why and how to do it, and you just have to hit the exact millimeters.
The puzzle with the cryptex and the places for portraits on the wall is cool; I had never seen anything like it.
The room is good; put it on your list if you’re there.
