This room was made for me. It’s like someone entered my mind and created a room. It’s my new favorite room, and I’ll cry when, in 10 months, it will no longer exist.
Rarely do I use such words, but every decision, every sound, and every symbol here made me smile, laugh out loud, dance, and sing. It wasn’t just about the puzzles or the setting but the whole experience. As it was the last room after a long and exhausting day, it energized me; my batteries went to the max as if I had snored cocaine. We escaped and said I was ready to play it again immediately. My sense of humor. In a room. With my time. With my music. And with hallucinogenic mushrooms.
I love this room.
Several months after our game, TERPECA offered me the chance to record a video to announce one of the winners of the 2023 awards show, and I gladly accepted this terrifying task. To my surprise, they asked me to make the announcement for Ice Tiki. Nothing could make me happier, so here is the video. I only had 20 seconds and it took me 15 takes to do it relatively well. Also, 2 hours of crawling on my knees to gather the balls… not to mention that two weeks later, they continued to emerge from various places in the room.
