Ever since we visited Vestigo and their team recommended to us to check out The Conspiracy, we knew this room would be unusual. We were planning to play here for almost a year so that the moment couldn’t have been better.
First and foremost, never underestimate the power and importance of the game master. One of the last rooms we played in Sofia, Enigmania also had powerful role-playing moments. Here I was sure that even the room was bad (and it isn’t) I would still have fun listening to Angaloth welcoming words. There are people born to entertain, they take you on a journey into their own world, so even if you don’t want to dive in, they still manage to capture your imagination, and you are transported right into the centre of everything.
About the room: very authentic interior, they really recreated the 70’s of the 19th century. The puzzles are interesting, also in unity with the theme of the room. I really liked that they chased and found a way to implement the idea of a “different” room, without saying more, I don’t want to spoil much. Our team was just over the moon when we “found” the surprise created for us, thank you it was in sync with the game, and you made us feel very special.
And the fact that there was a personal welcome, and “banichka” (traditional Bulgarian dish), and Nikola (to whom we heartily thank and we expect nothing less than “Вятър ечи, Балкан стене” on the guitar next time), we have no words to express how touched we were of everything that happened.
We strongly recommend that everyone on their way to the Black sea, visit Tarnovo and organize a Conspiracy, say that you have been sent by Sofia revolutionary district and the secret code is “100 rifles from the lower side of City Hall” 😀 And those of you in Tarnovo who haven’t played yet #shame!
Thanks for the experience, for the personal attention, and for the book – the wait was definitely worth it.
