After playing this room, it instantly became my absolute favorite in Belgrade—hands down.
It’s clearly climbing the rankings, and spoiler alert: I personally nominated it for TERPECA last year, and I’ll gladly do it again this year. They’ve earned their place among Europe’s rising stars.

“Pirates” proves that you don’t need an actor or a horror twist to deliver a thrilling, immersive adventure. From the very first step, we were pulled into a rich world of sails, swords, and secrets. The set design is impressive—authentic and atmospheric, with clever use of space that genuinely makes you feel like you’re navigating a pirate ship. It’s dark, and every sound contributes to the immersion.

Now, the puzzle design? Top-tier. A perfect blend of logic, teamwork, and tactile interaction. There’s barely a dull moment—every step is meaningful and thoughtfully crafted, and each transition is smooth and exciting. You can tell this room was created by people who not only understand escape rooms but clearly love designing them.

And don’t be fooled—the puzzles are definitely on the harder side. You’ll need to search, combine, communicate, and pull out all the stops in this non-linear experience if you want to escape in time. I absolutely loved it.
Pro tip: read out loud, manage your items, and keep your used/unused piles separate—you’ll thank me later.

Crowbar’s attention to detail, storytelling, and mechanics is what puts them ahead of the game. Pirates is where passion meets precision, and that’s rare. And if you do happen to visit—look at the damn lanterns! Anyone who puts that much effort into such small details has my eternal respect.

This is a must-play in Belgrade and a standout room in all of Europe.
TERPECA material, no doubt.
And this is one of our records that I keep dearly in my mind. 53 minutes and I remember every second of them.
Set sail.
