It’s no secret that I’m delighted when asked if we want to test a new room. To be trusted as one of the first to try the product, into which a lot of work, sleepless nights, finances, and inevitably, a part of yourself have been invested.

Fury had the pleasure of experiencing (and I deliberately use this verb) the new game by Infinity Infinity Escape – Real Life Escape Rooms – The Secret Chamber.

We start with the idea when this space was created to be a bit different from a classic escape room. That’s why I also call it an experience, especially if you are a fan of the Harry Potter series. Lately, we discussed how owners systematically and somewhat irresponsibly use the word “immersive” in room descriptions. However, here, this word would really be appropriate: stepping over the threshold, you find yourself in the magical world of the known (or unknown) universe of the franchise, surrounded by… well… magic.”

I’ll just mention that several times I had to look twice at certain objects and rub my eyes to make sure I wasn’t seeing things.

I’m not a fan of the books or the movies, which didn’t hinder me for a second. The decorations are stunning, and the option to choose standard or extended gameplay is new to me, and I respect it (details can be found on the website under Mystic Wands).

This is the third room of the brand and currently the best. The way they develop their business and make decisions along the way deserves only respect. I remember very well where they started; we gave them very critical feedback for their first room, and they… accepted it. Usually, when we give feedback, we know what will happen, most of our companions shrug and say they don’t have time to rework or improve. Here, the situation was different, they not only accepted the feedback but tore down the entire room and rebuilt it anew. ANEW, people! Not for us, but because they understood what they had initially underestimated and knew it was the right decision. Respect!

Let’s get back to the room.

My specialty is puzzles, and I’ll tell you they lean towards the easier side, which I find perfect for this setting. Everything in the gameplay was logical and intuitive, and it is helpful to pay attention to the brief readings. Except for that which shall not be named (they know what it is and that they need to tweak it), the lessons learned from hosting hundreds of teams and leading games for all types of players are evident at every step.

A remarkable game and an epic experience.

I wish you fair winds, and officially, if anyone asks me ‘where to take the kids to play’, the answer will be The Secret Chamber. Fury is impressed.

P.S. Veronika Mancheva – paint that nail 🤞

P.P.S. If the photos had sound, you would hear Dimitar holding the wand like a döner while shouting ‘Avadaaaa’ 🤣
